- Finding your Place on the Web: Carmen, Wordpress, Dreamweaver, Joomla, Blogger
- When it comes to finding your place on the web it can be quite an intimidating task. You might ask yourself questions like: What are my options? Is it difficult? How long will it take? Workshops (Workshops are limited to 12, depending on availability of STCs to support (support ratio of no more than 3 participants per STC)

- This introduction will cover Gmail and Google Docs. We will show you how to create an account with Google and setup their Gmail service (you can even incorporate your OSU Webmail accounts into Gmail!). From there, we will show you how to use and utilize Google Docs for collaboration and always have access to your documents on the web!

- Advanced Google Apps will cover Google Calendar, Google Reader and Google Wave. Google Calendar is the best way to keep your schedule, and the schedule of everyone else, recorded and up to date and Google Reader is an excellent way to keep track of all of the blogs and websites that you read. Recently, Google introduced their new App, Google Wave. We think Google Wave is excellent for group work and sharing ideas, and after this workshop, we think you will too!

- This hands-on workshop will introduce you to setting up a twitter account, finding and following others on Twitter, and interacting with them.

- This hands-on workshop will cover creating and using hashtags for topics and events, sorting and managing multiple twitter streams, and introduce 3rd-party applications that help manage your tweets. Participants should already be familiar with twitter basics (creating an account, following others on twitter).

- This will be a hands-on workshop introducing how to set up a Facebook account, customize your account, find and add friends and become fans of pages. We will cover creating photo albums and uploading photos, notes and videos. There will be some basic information on privacy settings, but we encourage those with lots of interest in protecting their privacy to attend Facebook Advanced.

- A more in-depth look at privacy settings, how not to be found, how to show some people some things and other people other things. This workshop will introduce you to creating Facebook Fan Pages, Groups and Events. We will also cover Facebook Applications and Facebook Mobile.
